• Ebro

  • Welcome to the Town of Ebro!

Ebro is a small rural community of 241, conveniently located at the intersection of SR 20 and SR 79  in southern Washington County, Florida.

We are a 15 minute drive to Panama City Beach, Florida and a 10 minute drive to the new Bay County International Airport, scheduled to open in September 2009.

A visit to Ebro would not be complete without a visit to the Ebro Greyhound Park, where you can wager on your favorite greyhound or test your card playing ability with a game of poker. If you prefer the quieter side of life, Ebro is close to the Choctawhatchee River for those who love to fish or just troll the waters.

The Pine Log State Forest is a wonderful place for the family, and the park offers many recreational opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast, including camping, wildlife viewing, picnicking, hiking, bicycling, swimming, horseback riding, fishing and hunting. All camp sites are fully equipped with electric and water hook-ups.  For the more hardy, there are also primitive campsites available.

The Center of the Crossroads in Ebro offers a small store for your basic needs, as well as a motel, and a restaurant  serving home cooked meals.  The Town of Ebrois  also the home of the only archery shop located in Washington County.

So, whether you need excitement or peace and quiet,  the Town of Ebro should be your destination!
